This session will provide an overview of the energy-related code provisions in the UCC with an emphasis on the recent changes associated with the 2021 IRC / IECC adoption. Learn about some of the ongoing challenges faced by builders and contractors, including new climate zone maps, continuous insulation requirements, increased slab insulation, energy code compliance paths, and the PA Alternative Residential Energy Provisions.
